All my previous sentiments are still true. I love this place! When I want a nice comforting bowl of deliciousness and warmth, I come here. On my last visit with a group of friends, I ordered the MANGO KAFFIR LIME MULE which is Kaffir lime leave soju, mango puree and ginger beer. It is to die for. The perfect amount of sweetness and tang from the mango and the ginger. Service as usual was amazing. Even with our larger party they were attentive, sat us quickly, and brought everything out in a timely manner. We sat to the left which always gives me private room vibes and we had the table by the windows so the sunshine coming through while we chatted and enjoyed our food gave the perfect vibe on a chilly winter day.

The food was spectacular. So good I forgot to take pictures. Our order included the shaken beef, which was a great portion, was perfectly cooked, the sauce was off the hook. The curry pho was delicious, just the perfect amount of spicy (mild), the seafood platter comes with garlic bread and it's really good. The vegan pho with bone marrow (I know...vegan but you add bone marrow...what's the point...stop judging...lol), was also very tasty, the broth was just right. And the Five Spice Beef Brisket bahn mi was stupendously delicious. And let's not forget the vegetable dumplings, soft but yet crispy, sooo tasty, super good. And wait...the Thai iced tea and Vietnamese coffee, if you remember one thing about this review...just remember the Vietnamese coffee, shaken beef and veggie dumplings...it won't disappoint. Your welcome. Lol. The ambiance is smooth, relaxed, not loud at all. They were able to accommodate 6 of us and 2 kids and all their tables were full so it's a pretty popular spot. Good lighting too (that's important lol). The service was good. The bartender (and maybe manager, not very sure) was extremely pleasant. Great service from him. Our server seemed a little shy or maybe new, but it didn't really hinder our experience to the point that we would not come back. Over all it was very good service. I totally recommend this restaurant to families, friends and couples. The food is amazing, nyc prices (as expected..on the high side, but worth it) and the ambiance is great.

Reliable soups and sandwiches with well sized portions. The flavors are pronounced and rich without being overly salty. We love the spicy coconut lemongrass soup, which is the right amount of spice offset by the coconut milk. The iced coffee is also strong yet sweet due to the condensed milk. They've renovated and upgraded the interior over time so it stays looking bright and fresh. The service is friendly but can be slow if it's busy.

Fire pho! Great food, great vibes and great drinks. We came on a Wednesday lunch for 10 and it was not crowded. Was able to accommodate 10 people and one stroller. Service was very fast and they have a large drink special menu that I wanted to try more of. The banh mi were on the mediocre side but the pho was great. Loved the presentation the pho was extra hot ! The spring and egg rolls were great and not the American style one. Would come again !

I ordered the coconut spicy soup with beef through Uber eats for lunch! The broth was on point and I appreciate the hoisin sauce and sriracha chili sauce packets it came with. Tiny cups of chili sauce were also included as well - much appreciated - everything was well packed and included a bag of top of toppings which included bean sprouts, lime slices and fresh green chili pepper slices. The small was a generous portion with enough noodles to fill you up. Wish the beef was a little less tough but it was edible.

Ginger & Lemongrass may be a run of the mill southeast asian eatery to you, but to me, it's the unsung hero of Beechhurst, Queens for my reservation-weary self, fleeing the trenches of the Manhattan and Brooklyn restaurant scene for one night. My group of 15 hungry souls, fresh from the dubious pleasures of a local spa (don't ask which one) stumbled into this Vietnamese restaurant with just 15 minutes notice. In Manhattan, this scenario would lead to a comedy of errors, perhaps ending with everyone eating bodega sandwiches on the curb. But in Queens, this can be your Saturday night! Ginger & Lemongrass doesn't so much welcome you as it does shrug and say "yeah we got space." It's the kind of place that reminds you that dining out doesn't have to be a competitive sport, that sometimes you can just eat. I guess this is what living in the suburbs is like? To address the pho in the room-- this isn't the sort of place that would make a Vietnamese person weep with joy. My Viet friend says the menu defines authenticity loosely. But we were cold, tired, and hungry, and the wings and noodles were great. I definitely recommend getting the curry soup with shrimp or chicken. Prices were reasonable, and I really appreciated how unbothered the staff was by our large group. We even had a semi-private room to ourselves. Ginger & Lemongrass isn't going to be the subject of breathless food reviews but for the prices and breadth of options on their menu, I was totally charmed.

So I my last review I said I wouldn't come back... but I was in the area and I totally forgot what my experience was like. Luckily it seems like things have changed. The spring rolls are wrapped in a rice paper (maybe?) wrap. We got the pork and mushroom filling this time. So much better than the shrimp we got last time. The Pho broth is very savory. The brisket is well executed. The round eye could use a bit more seasoning. I love that you can add bone marrow to your pho. Seating is plentiful. Service is prompt and friendly. Overall a nice meal.

Delicious. Not your typical viet pho place but food was still yummy. Walking in, it gave me more of a modern Vietnamese restaurant vibe. I usually order the Coconut Spicy Lemongrass Soup with chicken and boi oh boi is it delicious. It's the perfect amount of coconut and spice. I always end up having leftovers and it is even more delicious the next day. My family usually like the beef pho and it tastes pretty authentic. The fried spring rolls are delicious and we usually get the shrimp and chicken. We tried a beef cube dish expecting it to be like other Vietnamese restaurants but it wasn't what we expected. The beef came out more mushy and the flavor wasn't different from what we expected. Overall the pho is delicious and lunch specials are pretty worth it. Staff are all friendly and have great recommendations whenever we ask what they recommend!
